The PR team for the Mountain Bike World Cup contacted Leith Records to find a band to headline at their championship in Fort William.

We created ‘Downhill Rock and Roll’, an online competition hosted by Leithrecords.com. After 50 entries and 11,000 votes, one overall winner was chosen, Dirty Modern Hero. They played to 18,000 people on the day and helped build the atmosphere before British contender Gee Atherton won the downhill final. This exposed a great Scottish band to a brand new audience and gave us another opportunity to prove ourselves as a PR inspiring force and a creative thinking music community.
