PAPER SHIPS by ROB ST. JOHN

Rob St. John’s voice has a richness that instantaneously immerses you in calm. As all wonderful voices do, it has an edge of sorrow even when talking about the sun and shores.

This melancholy waltz seems has the feeling of quietly falling in love. It belongs in the soundtrack of an indie film involving espresso cups, lingering touches and heavy, mascarerred eyelashes.

Save this for a Sunday night when you’re mulling over why you exchanged your circus performer dreams for a ‘push-the-envelope’ existence.

Check his myspace for more excellence, some beautiful album artwork by his girlfriend and a superb cat named Floyd http://www.myspace.com/robstjohn.
