Watch the Plum Album Launch - LIVE!

UPDATE: Sorry folks, the show’s over. But you can check out the recording or hold out for the high quality footage on YouTube / Vimeo. Thanks for watching. Let us know what you thought in the comments below!

With the miracles of modern technology, we’re streaming the album launch live from the Mary de Guise barge in Leith at 8pm tonight.

It’s all a bit experimental, so we can’t guarantee it’ll work all of the time (or even work at all!), but it should give you a flavour of the live event.

We’ll also be recording everything too, so you’ll get a chance to catch the best bits on Vimeo and YouTube.

It’ll be better than X-Factor. Promise.

With @plumtunes launching her new album on the Mary de Guise barge in Leith tomorrow, it seems only right to play a few of her excellent videos in the build up.

This track, YOU (feat. Ben Phaze) is brilliantly animated by Jiamin Liu.

Tickets for the gig are all sold out from Ripping sadly, but check out Plum’s myspace page for follow up gigs!

STEADY EDDIE by The Brent Flood

Somewhere in deepest, darkest Tooting this Anglo-Irish quartet is gathering momentum, living under one roof and sharing musical ideas in the basement like germs… After reaching the finals of the Nationwide O2 battle of the bands in late 2006 The Brent Flood appeared on Playmusic Magazine’s cover-mount CD of the best UK unsigned music, were listed in Music-news.com’s Top 10 Unsigned Bands of 2007 and were victorious at the 2008 Indy Awards in the category of Best Indie.

Steady Eddie is a ridiculously catchy slice of indie pop. Click here to hear more tracks and see more pictures of the band’s A-team esque postal van tourbus.

They’re venturing north in October, you can see them at Maggie’s Chambers in Edinburgh on 23rd October.
