I DON’T LIKE HIP HOP by THE ORDINARY ALLSTARS : (@ordinaryallstar)

With pure jazzy funked up groove that makes you think it’s summer, even when it’s pishing with rain, the Ordinary Allstars are the greatest addition to the Edinburgh Hip Hop scene since the Proclaimers last attempted rapspeak.

Whether they really are the hybrid lovechild of the Ordinary Boys and the Allstars* however is yet to be confirmed.

Tweet, poke and fave them in all the usual places, and if you’ve been saving up your pocket-money, buy the track on iTunes.

EDINBURGH RAPS by WERD :

Werd - aka Drew Devine - is the founder, producer and MC at Sons of Scotland, a Scottish-based collective, pushing the boundaries of hiphop north of the border.

It’s a rare, but great sound, hearing live emceeing in the Scottish vernacular. But if you can’t understand a word, you can always read the lyrics.

Check out the Sons of Scotland site.
