Track 019 by The Good The Bad (@thegoodthebad)

Another flamenco surf extravaganza from those Danish desperados.

If you are in London or know anyone in London, TGTB celebrate their first digital EP on Stray Cat Records with a release party on 13 November - all the details are here: http://www.whoreditch.co.uk

The previous night they will play a FREE warm-up show at MERC, Carnaby Street, London (see attached poster)

Get that surf board out the cupboard, put your best flamenco dress on, put that red light on and rock on. Baby.

TRACK 004 by @TheGoodTheBad

The Good The Bad are three Danish desperados specialising in surf flamenco thrash.

According to their site, “their hip-shaking dirty cool has been increasing the birth-rate in Denmark by the day ever since their own explosive conception just one year ago”. They’ve been busy boys then.

They’re launching their EP at Whoreditch in the heart of Shoreditch on Nov 13th. It’s a bit of a long way from Leith, so probably won’t be there, but we wish them well.

This track was kindly submitted by Katie C, who said “their new school surf and flamenco tunes get the party started. Have a listen, you will enjoy… x”

We hope you agree!

Check out The Good The Bad site, their MySpace page, or follow them on Twitter.

SHAME by DISSIMILAR :

Dissimilar is an artistic collaboration between Alastair Cook (Leith based) and James Norton (London based), who together make music, video, art, sketches and live performances. As they put it themselves, their stuff is dark, mercurial and pretty intense.

This track Blind was recorded early one morning in East Ham after a stuttering journey through London’s outer reaches. It’s grim and downbeat, but captures that early morning cityscape glow. Catch more examples of their music, video and art on the Dissimilar site.

It’s also one of our first submissions direct from the artist. If you’ve got a band or track to feature on Leith Records, go ahead and suggest one here.
